I just returned from a 54 day sailing trip from Anacortes to Glacier Bay and back. We stayed at many of the anchorages listed in the book and found all of them to be exactly as advertised, sometimes better. I was sad when we got further north than the book went and had to figure out the anchorages on my own.
The author provides the mariner with concise detail of every navigational facet of Coastal Cruising the Inside Passage of the coast of British Columbia. Arial photos give the big picture of the described passages; anecdotal information keeps the material livelyand interesting. Highly recommended. (I plied these waters as a commercial fisherman some 30 years ago and now enjoy sailingthem at my leisure.)
I have used it extensively in addition to the Waggoner Cruising Guide during my inside passage from Washington to Petersburg Alaska. A must have...
This is a tremendous work. I have been highlighting and using tape to tab and index pages for quick reference. The front section is a wealth of valuable information and history. Wish they had a companion volume for higher up in BC and for SE Alaska. A must have for cruisers.
This is a cruise guide well worth putting at the top of a boaters library. Lots of detailed maps and stunning photography, both at eye level with the anchorage and aerials overviews. Highly recommended.
