This book offers insight into Isaiah 52:13 - 53:12 like I have never seen before. We are so accustomed to thinking that the Gospel is only explained and presented in the New Testament, but we see the Gospel clearly represented in Isaiah. An excellent read.

Bringing alive the coming of Jesus. Thousands of years before he came. It foretold Jesus dying on the cross for us all. Amazing love of God for all of us.

A study on Isaiah 53 is the primary focus of this book. When this book first arrived it looked thin and I was concerned there would be large font with lots of white space and very little content. John MacArthur takes a great scripture from the book of Isaiah and digs deep into what Isaiah saw long before it really happened. He does a good job in taking one of the best prophecies about Jesus the Messiah and explaining how the accuracy of its fulfilment proves Jesus was who he said he was. A worthwhile read.

John explains the importance and the self imposed ignorance of the 53rd chapter of Isaiah clearly and plainly. If you want to honor The Lord with your study of His word this book will help immensely.
